Product Development Coordinator

Description

Growing Bridge Jewelry Company in Long Island City looking for Product Development Coordinator.  Should have experience in jewelry and strong excel skills.  Will be coordinating product development for licenses

Objectives

• Maintains and updates spreadsheets on product assortment, pricing, product development lifecycle

• Gathers all pricing from manufacturers, sample shops and works with Director of Merchandising to meet targets.

• Tracking all samples and ensuring timelines are being met.

• Works to keep product expectations on design intent while maintaining manufacturing needs and pricing targets of the product.

• Coordinates with the Merchandising Director and Sales Director to ensure retail pricing is provided for all sales meetings and samples are ready for client review.

• Regularly organizes files within the SHR shared drive on BOMs from factories, internal images of product, spec sheets, etc

• Organizing the line samples after meetings and keeping inventory of samples.

• Coordinating with shipping the returns to factories on incorrect samples and tracking incoming samples.

• Running to 47th street to retrieve samples or pickup supplies.

• Responsible for product setup and tagging of samples.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of jewelry design and manufacturing

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite Preferred

• Working knowledge of Rhino and viewing files

• Highly organized and self motivate

Relationships

• Department Structure: Reports to Director of Merchandising (dotted line to Chief Creative)

• Internal Relationships:

• Interacts with Sales/Design/PD/Logistics/Ops

• Customer Relations: Works closely with the Director of Sales for client            meeting needs
